The Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center (RADC) offers various data on Religious Orders Study/Memory and Aging Project (ROSMAP) participants. Biospecimens and limited data sets are by approved request, and omics data can be downloaded through the AMP-AD Knowledge Portal with a Synapse account and data use agreement. These two sources identify ROSMAP participants using different ID formats.
Source | ID name | Format | Example |
---|---|---|---|
RADC | projid | Exactly eight digits | 01234567 |
AMP-AD (Synapse) | individualID | R prefix, exactly seven digits | R9876543 |
Note: Projids are commonly auto-formatted as numbers, such as by Excel, which removes leading zeroes. A projid with fewer than eight digits should be understood as having leading zeroes reapplied until length equals exactly eight; for example, a projid written as 1234567
is the same as the projid 01234567
.
To match the participants across the two ID formats, use the ROSMAP_clinical.csv metadata spreadsheet on Synapse. As with downloading omics, access to this metadata file requires a Synapse account.
