Total number of times dazed and confused is based on self-report using the Brain Injury Screening Questionnaire (BISQ). Participants are asked to report the number of times they have been dazed or confused in a variety of situations:
Have you ever been dazed or confused [in the following situations]?
This variable is the sum of the number of times dazed and confused across the 7 situations.
Note on missing items: If missing, this variable is set to 0.
