Age-related inflammation
This variable is only available in MAP and MARS.
Age-related inflammation is a composite measure of inflammation based on levels of interleukin-1β, tumor necrosis factor-α, and interleukin-6 measured from blood samples. Age-related inflammation is the mean of the log transformed values of the 3 inflammatory markers.
Note on missing values: This variable is only calculated if all 3 markers are non-missing.
