Income level at baseline (10-level)

Income level at baseline is measured at the baseline interview with a single question. Participants are asked to select one of ten levels of total family income using the 'show-card' method.

Participants are asked the following question:

Which of these income groups represents your personal income for the past month or year? Include income from all sources such as wages, salaries, social security or retirement benefits, help from relatives, rent from property, and so forth.
