Clinical Diagnosis
A clinical diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease is made by a clinician through review of self report questions, neurological exam (when available), cognitive testing, and interview of participant. The clinician is first presented with algorithmic diagnosis and has the ability to modify if necessary.The diagnosis of Parkinson's disease was made according to the clinical criteria recommended by the Core Assessment Program for Intracerebral Transplantation (CAPIT).
