Vascular inflammation based on 2 inflammatory markers
This variable is only available in MAP and MARS.
Vascular inflammation (2 items) is a composite measure of vascular inflammation based on levels of vascular cell adhesion molecule and matrix metallopeptidase-9. See the inflammatory markers subcategory description for more information. This variable is the sum of the log transformed values of the 2 inflammatory markers.
Note on missing values: This variable is only calculated if both markers are non-missing.
