Hematocrit (HCT), or packed cell volume (PCV), is the percentage of red blood cells in circulating blood. The variable is determined with a complete blood count performed by Quest Diagnostics. Reference range: Male: 38.5 - 50.0% Female: 35.0 - 45.0%
