Cervical radiculopathy based on self-report

Cervical radiculopathy is self-reported based on 2 questions. Participants are first asked if they experienced neck pain that lasted days, weeks, or months. Participants who answer affirmatively are asked about pain, numbness or tingling, or weakness in arms or hands.

Participants are asked the following questions:

  1. Since your last interview on [last interview date], have you had neck pain that lasted days, weeks, or months?
  2. At the time you were having pain in the neck, did you also have pain, numbness or tingling, or weakness in the arms or hands?
