Number of strokes (Command)
Total number of strokes in command condition

This variable is only available in MARS and in Clinical Core.

The total number of strokes in the command condition is captured during the digital Clock Drawing Test (dCDT) using digital pen technology. See the digital pen device category description for more information.

Participants are asked to use the digital pen to "draw the face of a clock with all the numbers and set the hands to 10 after 11." This variable indicates the total number of strokes required to complete the command.
