Driving status
Driving in past 12 months

Driving in the past 12 months is based on self-report. Participants are first asked if they are licensed to drive. Those who answer affirmatively are then asked if they have driven in the past year (yes = 1, no = 2):

  1. Are you currently licensed to drive?
  2. Have you driven in the past 12 months?

Participants who answer affirmatively to both questions are asked a final question to assess frequency of driving.
